turbo kits
i was wondering peoples inputs on those thousand doller turbo kits on ebay, are they worth it or are they just junk?

There's only one company on ebay I would buy from and that's On3 performance. The rest are junk. The on3 kit is only $1400 for the base kit. It's an awesome deal for the power its capable of.

I don't know if you need to pass emissions or not but I don't think any of the single turbo kits are emissions legal. The hellion kit does let you keep the smog pump though.

On3 is tried and true, cheaper ones are supposedly junk and I'd believe it. You can't get much cheaper than On3 and expect good things. Hell, they even recommend the turbo upgrade to the Master Power. If you can't afford the couple hundred extra now, how are you going to afford the multiple hundred more when the shit don't fit and you have to have a lot of custom shit made. Then the couple thousand when the turbo comes apart and wrecks your motor too. How cheap is that kit now? Go with something that works or get out of the game. It's that simple. And good shit isn't cheap!

yea you get what you pay for, in michigan you dont have to pass any emissions tests
