Changing the bulb on my tach??

I just bought a car last Friday and it has a autometer ultra lite 2 tach in it but when I wad driving at night it doesn't light up but my shift light works. I can't see where a bulb would be on the back of the tach so I'm guessing it's internal?? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does it have a black square on the front of the gauge?

Yes a black square button?

The black square piece is the bulb plug. Push in and turn it counter clockwise about an 1/8 turn and it should come out. Should be a wedge type bulb.

Thanks guys that's it bulb was burnt up lol gonna go to Oreillys in the morning and get a new one
