RHS 221 elite heads on a 408??

Just wonder has anybody every used these heads and how they compare to the other name brand heads.

NO! I raced a HCI swapped car using RHS heads with my stock motor with just cobra intake mani and full bolt ones "Same as his" And I beat him... IDK if it was because he sucked that bad but the best he was pulling all night was 14.xx I can't remember it was a couple years ago.. I since got my TFS heads and intake mani and once I get my tranny here in a few months with a high stall I am looking to hit 12.8-12.5 na.. Sooo The same would apply to a 408, get some good heads don't go cheap, whats the use of building a nice short block just to choke it down with shit heads.. Go big or save until you can...

i was looking into there 215 heads for a 408. i have since been steered in the direction of either TF 225 HP or TF 206 race head. the machining and quality of the TF line is much better. You know what springs and all you get with the TF. RHS doesnt tell you any of that. it could jsut be run of the mill crap.

A good buddy has the RHS/ Pro Topline 215 head on his street 427w in a 89 GT backed by a AOD. He is using the Comp XE282 cam and TFS Box intake. The car runs awsome on the street, drive it anywhere!

That engine is seriously under cam'd.

Its not a race car, just a street cruiser! The cam works great. Crazy torque!

Haha....dude mine is brutal for what it is. My valve springs should last forever though!

I realize that, but it's still under cam'd. It could super duper, extra crazy, mad torque with the right cam
