lots of hesitation until on the bottle...? Video Inside
My mustang is quick on the bottle, but its terribly slow until about 3500rpm off the bottle. here is a video spraying so you get the idea off the bottle to about 3000rpm...
8* base timing, autolite 24s gapped .035, full exhaust, 24lb injectors, aod stock stall, 3.73 gears, 76mm pro-m maf. not sure why its running so slow off the bottle, even with 8* timing I would assume it would pull a little harder... Last edited by TreyO; June 22nd, 2011 at 02:16 PM. |

Do you think the centrifugal advance weights inside the dizzy could be stuck fully advanced. Do you hear any preignition??? Detonation??? That's some wierd sh!t.

No detonation or pinging to speak of, I was running 18 degrees base timing without any pinging off the bottle. Car is very wierd, something is messed up!?
