359w blown headgasket


359w gt40p heads X303 cam. Just got my car done and was just ideling in the garage with some reving firtst time running.Car running great then saw water underneath the car it was coming out the passenger side exhaust and out the head.Changed the oil it was milky.What would make it blow the soon I used a felpro stock style head gasket.Iam a little puzzled right now.

do you know any history about those heads? pervious owner could have over heated them pretty bad

Had the heads checked at the machine shop.Deck dont know and gasket up side down is that even possible.

You can have the gasket backwards. There's two passages on the back of the block on both sides. If you have the gasket backwards, it will block them.

just pulled the head and it blew between 2 cylinders um my water jacket holes are a lot bigger than the gasket water jacket holes

The headgasket was on back words.My ? is my head and block both ahve water jacket holes on each side front and back.My new gasket a 3 layer metal gasket from mr.gasket only has water jacket holes on the back side of the gasket.
