Hydrolic roller to Solid/Mechanical roller
Hello, I have no idea how to change from hydrolic roller to solid or mechanical roller. What pieces we have to replace? What are results, consequence?
Thank you

Cam, lifters, pushrods and valve springs. Results - more power, more rpm capability and more routine maintenence. If you get a tight lash street solid roller you should be able to get away with setting lash once or twice a year. For comparison purposes I check valve lash before every race day and it rarely changes. I run my car on the street a fair amount as well. You will hear alot of people tell you that solid cams can't be run on the street because you "always" have to adjust valve lash but that is not the case at all. Factory cars used to come with solid flat tappet cams.
