1986 Mustang 5.0 HO speed density to MAF


Have the 1986 Mustang 5.0 HO .Iwant to switch from speed density to MAF. I found the sensor and the computer in the junkyard . Where's the best place to buy the wiring harness . You guys hae helped before , please again, Pictures soon.

stay away


i would not go maf unless your going turbo or supercharge ,etc
speed density runs a little stronger in stock form. plus all the work and money to change it over.

Switch to MAF if you plan on putting on heads cam and intake speed density does not perform well with these upgrades

Mustangs Unlimited has a 86-88 Mass air conversion harness for 34.95!

Thanks 86blk I checked on Mustangs Unlimited found the part and is ordered. Thanks again . This company looks like a good prospect for my parts for more mods. Let you know how the change over works in a week or 2.
