hmotes Regular Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 98	car turns off ok here's the deal. My car runs and idles good until i start using the a/c or the electric fan kicks on. I have a 130 amp alt. Only when using these during stopping my car starts to idle rough then dies on me ( it'll restart) but it really gets to me. ckthecerealkiller Enthusiast Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Windsor CO Posts: 936	What is the idle on the car set at? How good is your battery and did you do a cell test on it? Have you had the alternator tested? Just because it is a 130 amp doesn't mean that is what it is pushing.

A 130 amp alt doesnt push 130amps at idle, could be a number of things. start with the basics that wont cose you anything, check connections on battery, frame, engine block. check voltage with a/c off and then check voltage with a/c on

You might be looking at some work but it's not very easy to tell without looking at it. I would honestly take it to a shop that you can trust.

I know i had to splice into it when i did my mass air conversion. Just cant remember what they call it

Do ya'll think it could be a sensor or something in that nature?
