Well, whats the tread life on each tire... is one better then the other significantly?? I have ran sumitomos and they seemed to be good.. I just love that wide look.. I have 275's on right now and they are big enough for my 17x10.5 rims... I like the 315's they fill it better..

ive been reading that people are getting about 25k miles out of the nittos and a little more out of the sumitomos, on american muscle they say that the nittos have one of the widest treads in the 275 range and i know sumitomos run skinny

If you are choosing between a sumitomo 315 and a nitto 555 275 for a 10.5in rim I would regrettably have to go with the 315 as a 275 nitto won't look near wide enough on that rim it will look stretched like all those ricers who stretch tires on their rims. I would recommend shopping around and finding a 315 nitto as they are good tires and have lasted me around 10k already with 5-6 trips to the drag strip and in the range of 10-15+ runs down the track and many burnouts on and off the track and I still have a ton of tread left and they get pretty decent traction for a street tire.

I run 15x8 rims and 275/60/15 MT ET streets when I go to the track so I just get a good street tire for my normal rims..

BOOOOOOO WHEEL WORKS!! just got back, guy told me they could match prices so i printed out the quote from AM and he would baerely match thier price and he wanted to try and charge me tax and shipping AND he wouldnt take their own coupon of 50$ off with a purchase of over 200.
wanted to charge me 375 for 2 315 sumis, its fuckin only 281 for tires shipped to my door from am and i can find a local tire shop to mount and balance them for 20-30 bucks. 375 my ass i fuckin walked out on him |

I usually order mine from tirerack.com. They get to u fast from Nevada & no tax. Go with the Suitumo 315's. Good tire for cheap, although they do run small compared to other brands of the same size. 91cobra5.0 where u from in the Bay?
