I suggest a set of 1 5/8 flowtech, witch I just so happen to have new in a box for the low low price of 125 with bolts and gaskets. and I see your pretty close too.

honest theres not much of a performance diff. the hpipe sounds more choppy and a little mor cammy, the x pipe is a hair more quiet, and a little more gargled. I have an x and perfer the hpipe.

shorties all sound about the same. If you wandt a loud setup get headers offroad 2.5" h pipe and 2 chambers with no tail pipes and no turndowns, and I promise you after about 1 week youll want it quieter.

taking off the tail pipes isn't an option

For sure, it will sound nice. No tail pipes is just the loudest possible muffler arangement. If you get the 2.5 h pipe don't forget to pick up a set of 2.5 flow tubes if you dont buy a cat-back kit. Off topic did you get your ass handed to you by that hella storm today?

It sucked here in NW indiana I haven't seen shit like that in years. I think theres more trees on the streets than in the ground. Why can't ya ditch the tailpipes?

Longtubes for sure...Do you have an auto or manual...If you have a manual, go with BBK longtubes...Cheap and fit good...If you have an AOD your choices are limited...I have MAC but they were hard to clear my AOD bell....Had to jack the motor up and pull on it.

H pipe, nice tone, deep

X pipe, louder, and claim to make more HP, but i dont know...They do sound good though

The midpipe is more of a preference thing...If i had another chance i would have gone with a Prochamber...They sound the best IMO.

Good luck with whatever you decide to go with and lets hear a sound clip when you get it done!

exhaust/header question

I have the bbk shorties with a off road x pipe and the american thunder cat back and its really loud. Too loud for me thinking about switching to a different exaust but if you want loud that set up works

ive got bbk equal length shortys origanal h pipe and flowmaster american thunder catback, but i just put the mufflers on, it sounds pretty good but im going to go with the bbk offroad x pipe it allows for more sufficent flow, along with the equal length headers

ive got bbk shorties, bbk off road h pipe and 40 series flowmaster with tail pipes.. it sounds great and only costs me about 700 bucks... you should look into the mac pro dumps. they give your car a nice deep loud sound.
but for headers you can't go wrong with a set of bbk shorties and theyre much easier to install then long tubes.

good luck
joe
