what will my cobra run in 1/4 mile?
I got a 90 notchback 5 speed with cobra heads and intake ported for my 75mm throttle body. I have a bbk cold air intake and underdrive pulley kit including a smog delete. Also mac headers to dual 2.5 inch exhaust. Around 160k miles on motor but runs strong. I'm really interested as to what other readers have run with similar setups. My trans needs a rebuild so I have to wait for next year. Future involves a cam (still deciding), 24# injectors, 76mm maf, and 1.7 rrs. Help?lol

I'm literal on the ''cobra'' thing. It's just to show the intake and heads. Basically same motor as a 93 cobra. Not exact but close. It's stock 3.08 I believe. I'm not sure if I wana upgrade the gears first or jus throw some cheater slicks on the back. The car stock runs 14.8

Yeah, I wouldn't call it a Cobra. You may as well try to justify calling it a "GT40" because they're called GT40 heads/intake.
I'd guess mid-14s in the mid-90s.

With stock gears, stock cam and slicks, I'd say a 13.5 @103 ish. Bone stock cars with a GOOD driver on street tires should run low 14s or high 13s.

yea true. I think it would do better than 14.6. Now I'm not too smart about the stangs yet but if that's what it runs stock then I'm hoping for better. My trans am ran 14.9 and the mustang passes it up easy. Experiment between my buddy and I.

If you can drive and shift well, it will run a mid 13 on slicks.
