how to test O2 sensor?
Can anyone tell me how to test my O2 sensors on my 93 Cobra? I have a small idle stumble and Ive checked everything else but the sensors and a manifold leak. Hopeing its the O2, not he manifold. Its a VERY small stumble but noticeable. It gets better when I turn on the A/C, but should idle smoother.
Thanks guys. |

How many miles do you have on it ? You should have 4 sensors since its a V8 dual exhaust .
I think for your year ,since it doesn't have OBD ,you are supposed to replace them like every 40-50,000 miles if they are the 2 wire. 3-4 wire can go a bit longer . You need a scan tool, a voltmeter or digital oscilloscope to test . If the testing shows a problem, you gotta replace them .But if you got 40,000 or more miles,Id go ahead and replace them anyways.
