quick fox shock question...HELP IM CONFUSED
sup guys on fox's there are 4 rear shocks...some there are two, are all four needed? did different years come with 2 and some with 4 ? thanks guys!!

the two horizontal shocks are called quad shocks, they help reduce wheel hop, alot of people remove them to fit bigger tires etc, generally u should have a good set of control arms before u take them off that way u dont wheel hop real bad.

great thanks bud i appreciate the help with these quad shocks removed would it cause the car to move left to right like as if you push on the car rock it side to side?

Just get some good upper and lower control arms and you can remove them. I'm in the process of replacing my control arms and I'm ripping those suckers out

my car didn't come with any
but i agree, get better control arms and rip the quad shocks out

thanks! wth the quad shocks taken out would that cause the car to moove side to side if you push on it clunk clunk?

No, they are only there to dampen wheel hop. The upper control arms are triangulated, and are the ones that help keep the axle centered.
If the axle is moving side to side, you better check your arm bushings for wear, and the chassis area for cracks where the arms bolt to the car |

ill crawl under it tonight and check i know the car is 100% solid it just seems like it pushes side to side more easy than it should for some reason...
