You can buy nice aluminum heads cheap if you know where to look.

If you are going to spend the money AFRs are usually at the top of the list.

That is a question that cannot be answered.. But I can tell you the reason for the injector upgrade is the 19lb inj will not handle the power you will have.. Do yourself a favor and get AFR, TrickFlow, Edlebrock or Holley heads.. Dont get the Ford heads they are ok but if you are starting from scratch then spen the extra $$ you wont regret it.. I would also with the setup you want to build put in 30lb injectors. They will handle what you have and leave a little room for growth if you want to add lets say nitrous..

If you dont ever plan on running a supercharger or turbo make sure you have 10.5:1 to 11.0:1 compression. That will give you real nice numbers and will run on 91 or 93 octane without a problem...

Both heads are good. The Trick Flow would flow more and allow for a bigger cam. They would also need longer than stock push rods I believe. Stay away from the 40p's. They are good heads, but they require special headers because the plug is at an angle. Unless you are going to buy headers anyways that is. Also the plug is closer to the valve which limits upsizing them. Budget,go for the 40x's, don't care about an extra couple hundred bucks, go for the Trick Flows.
