Your car is unibody,so if you chop that roof off,its gonna cave in in the middle.First the doors wont close, cause they'll be sagging, also your windshields gonna crack into a million pieces from stress.About fifteen years ago a buddy and i took a sawzall to pontiac fiero to make a targa top.Needless to say it didnt last long.It looked kinda cool for a couple days, lol, till it started to sag in the middle.Needless to say DONT TRY THIS AT HOME lol!

Spend money doing something that will not ruin your car.

i would think to make it work you would need to reinforce the frame with some serious box tubing down the entire frame rails front to back and weld some kind of cross section across the middle of the body also a roll cage welded to the frame would help

maybe just reinforce he frame running front to back and the cage wleded to the frame and you would pprobly be solid enough. a stiffer suspension might help to keep the car from wanting to twist like a pretzel
