I have before, couple weeks after i did, the bearing in my pump started to go out. Not sure if it was the transmission fluid or not

well i do have a 1995 gt, and they say with the newer ones that its okay to run mercon iv in it. I changed it earlier today and it seems to be alright, maybe even i little bit quieter than before, it still wines though and i still have no idea why, i got a remanufactured pump at autozone and this is like the third one i have had on it and doesnt make a difference, anybody else had a pump wine straight out of the box?

Mine wines also with 54k on it. The PO took good care of it and had everything serviced on schedule so maybe just the way it is.
