Restoration making progress.. pics
Well my 87 Mustang GT that I bought for 750 dollars is making progress.. Its been in the shop with me and my buddy working on it in spare time fixing it up. A few pics of before and after.. It still isn't finished yet.. I have to put mufflers on it, put the new clear head lights and corners on it, new fog lights, all new weather stripping for t-tops, and clean up the interior a little bit. Let me know what you guys think of the before and after. It's also dirty in the after pics, covered in dust really. As you will see I converted it to 5 lug with the on3performance kit. What ive done so far is new valve cover gaskets, 2" lowering springs, Saleen 18's, a little paint and body work, new rear shocks, new brakes all the way around. sure im leaving out a few things. lol Right now Ive got around 3000 total tied up in it. The motor is completely bone stock with 102,000 original miles. 5 spd. Thanks for looking.

Wow! How did you get the rear quarter so straight without replacing it? From the looks of the first pic i would have guessed there would have been rear frame rail damage as well. I gotta hand it to you though it looks great!

thanks guys... the guy who I bought it from had the car for 10,000 miles.. and ran it into the ground basically for those miles.. Shame to see people mistreat a car.. the interior was horrific.. he had little 4 inch speakers screwed into the console just hanging.. where he cut out the factory radio and just put a cd player laying in there. a big hole.. just bouncing around, not bolted to nothing.. it was rediculous how bad he ran it down.
