Probably work with the FMU that comes with it if you kept the stock pulley on. If you wanted to do it right, I would do 30's (or larger) and a tune or tuner. Keep the AFR a little richer at WOT like boost likes and keep the duty cycle of the injectors down. An FMU will cause the injectors to operate at a higher PSI/dutycycle and will shorten their lifespan.

I bought this exact kit last year. Very happy with it. Spins through 1st and 2nd on street tires (fun but sucks for ET). I have full length sfc's ready to install and am getting stickier tires to fix it a little.
I used 30# injectors because I got the maf, injectors and adjustable fpr for $150. If I didn't get this deal I would have got 42#'ers. I have to run the 30#'ers at higher psi, about 50psi (not sure if this is the right number, it's what the gauge says when I'm cruising down the road, not with the vacuum line off, etc.) to get the a/f ratio around 11.5-12 (safe level). I didn't get a tune and it runs fine. I'm sure a tune would run better. Yes, you can buy pulley kits for these (vortech.com) and in a year or so, I plan to get the kit with a 6.87" crank pulley and 3.12" blower pulley for about 3-4 more psi. At the same time, I'll upgrade the injectors to 42's. Any more boost than that, you will need a bypass valve from what I've read. Make sure to get wideband O2 sensors with a gauge. Very important to know a/f when boosted. Should also get a larger fuel pump if you haven't already. I was advised against using the FMU from the forum from guys that know much more than me and it's still sitting in the box. |

I have an FMU and a BTM and make some decent power. Not an ideal solution but it works. You can try the FMU with your 24's for a while and if you can't or do not want to self tune or find someone willing to tune if with the FMU, chuck it and get 42's, and a 42 calibrated MAF.
