Yea I've really grown to love the 4 eye. Really like the later years too.

Yea it was reappolstered and pretty clean when I got it. It's tweed and to the best of my knowledge done in texas. All I'm going to do with it is recover the handles and straighten out the panels that have been warped from moisture.

When you put the motor in, do some t0 heads instead. Really cheap but much better potential/power. Just something to think about good looking car you got there...I'm actually selling my '92 to get into an 86!!

What kind of hood is that, it doesn't seem to be a normal cowl ? Because of that ridge that runs down the center of the hood. It looks like it's a Dugan hood. I don't know if you have heard of Dugan but that are some shop out of new York, I think. They make some good stuff. I tried to buy one of there Dugan whale tails about 13 years ago. Which looks like a saleen wing but a little bigger. But they were having problems with there fiberglass molds, so I cancelled my order because it was taking so long

I'm not sure what the hood is. It is in pretty bad shape, rusting pretty bad on the passenger side and looks to have about 1/4" of bondo on the whole thing. I'm going to strip the whole thing down and skim coat it in the next few months.

Finally got the motor in today, unfortionatly didn't get to shoot any pics because of lack of time. Had to get it in the garage and motor in because of snow in the forcast. Noticed that the A/C compressor is on the opposite side and may interfere with my fenderwell intake so the a/c compressor is probably going to go. Tomorrow i'll be plugging everything in and button' up the engine bay. Hopefully get it running by next weekend, interested to see how long it'll take me to be dissappointed in the lincoln heads. Wish me luck!

Oh. Okay. If it's metal then it's not a Dugan hood. Why dont you just put the a/c compressor back on the drivers side ? It's always nice to have cool Air when you need it. Lol
