yah i figured as much lol but hey if u want to go fast u do want u got to do. its just a better all around motor. then you have the termi swap as well. thats kinda what i really want to do honestly. this is what i was thinking. dart 306/347 dart 351 or just doing the termi swap. tho im still stuck on wantting to do the ls2 swap since i can get the motor for cheap and boosting that motor would be sick as well

Do the ls2. They are amazing engines. People that get mad over a chevy engine in a ford are brand loyal idiots.

Ya I'm thinking that to. If i do it'll have to be a dart block. Maybe someone on here has a termi swap already and make my decision easier. Still confused on what I want to do

The termi swap sounds like a good way to go (just my opinion). Unrelated note, check out this coyote swap they did at Carlisle this year.

Ya the 32v sounds fun but different spindle and whole new front end ie kmember makes me not want to do it. So on that note its ls2 swap or staying with 408 or 306/347

They said it'll make your wheels stick out farther n the amount of room is less than an actual cobra...Idk...already spending 8k+ on a motor pluss and additional 2-3k on front end and fab work then computer and.wiring being.more is.gna be way out of.budget and i wna build this right so prolly no termi swap lol if I'm gna do that ill just buy a car

Buy tubular k member and ls2 swap... Easy choice. The ls2 and termi are close in specs and just heads and a cam that ls2 will whoop ass in a fox body

Just look around.. There are quite a few that will work for the LS swap into the foxbody... I believe LMR sells what you need

If you've got the cash to do a dart block build from scratch, then any platform will be a good starting point. Once you're in that territory, you're not going to really have any characteristics from any engine manufacture that are going to make one better than the other unless you're going for max effort.

peopel were saying that the termi swap the wheel base is different and would make my wheels stick out to far cuz i would have to swap the full k member etc. its either build a dart 306/347 351/406 or ls2 swap so thats what i need help deciding lol.

another option would be a complete project. would be buying a corvette chassis with motor and tranny and putting a fox frame on it??
