I agree, but you can do the old school way and just use what you have but replace the mufflers with the Flowmasters and just do a turn down style. I dont care for the turndown style but its bascially free and simple.

You can’t go wrong with the signature sound of a 5.0 Mustang with Flowmaster mufflers. They go together so well that it’s like they were made for each other!

You can install mufflers in place of your old mufflers or you can install a whole new Cat-Back system.

Try some Thrush glass packs or some old school cherry bombs. You'll love 'em & your neighbors will hate 'em.

To OP get SpinTech EVERYONE has SlowMaster's
A Cam and free flowing intake will make your exhaust sound more aggresive.

Im not sure what other exhaust sound like and personally i would have never chose flowmaster because everybody puts them on there shit ( my fthr n law has them on a 68 bel air w/ a 350 bored .30 over and it sounds horrible not aggressive at all) but i bought my 93 gt bone stock with dual flowmaster and it has the meanest fucking growl i refuse to replace i get compliments all the time.

I don't have a closed mind or flowmasters lol. I just know, along with 99% of everyone on this website that glasspacks sound like absolute shit.
