Exhaust question/Suspension

2 questions for the pros!!

first is i wanna buy a loud exhaust, i have magnaflow now and its not loud enough. i was looking at the SLP and i wanna get them. NOW...do i get the actual mufflers or the resonators??? wjats the difference?

annnd, whats the best lowering spring out there? h&r or eibach? which lowers the car the MOST?

thanks again...im a noob to modding but not workin on mustangs

Resonators only. And I hear good things about both springs. I have eibach prokit on my car and it rides pretty nice.

IMO you should get dynomax race bullets dumped or Spintech Super Pro Streets dumped , i would also advice an o/r x pipe for both setups if you dont want your car to sound like a truck(im serious). If loud with tone is what you want get these. I've heard awsome reviews on these exhaust but I warn you from what i heard these mufflers are VERY LOUD. but i havnt heard them in person.

I got the SLP resonator system for a LX and cut the bumpers to fit my GT (universal rubber hangers for the tips).

great thing about the exhaust is its soooooo easy to install and if you want to take it to the strip and run it straight through you can just unbolt the centre pipes and put straight through pipes on there... the resonator is essentially a hollow chamber with no wadding but 2" of extended pipe within the inner chamber for exhaust gases/sound to bounce around till its forced out the back... it does have a bit of a metallic drone after a while but its loud as heck... also if you want to later you can get a set of chambered inline mufflers 50" long and they can replace the drone for a deeper tone. there are lots of different tuning options with it...

got eibach springs all round and they do make a difference when driving the old girl...

FAIL. I've NEVER seen that look good. Not when it's first done and specially not later when that cut area starts to distort and warp because it is now weaker. Just my opinion though.

Nonsensical question. To lower the car the best you need a hell of a lot more than just springs. The front geometry sucks, and you're just making it worse when you lower it without taking other things into account. If you're just talking springs, the best lower is actually that which lowers *least*.

Yeah, that's not what fixes it.

If you're just doing it for looks, it doesn't really matter, though.

Yes what dexter is talking about is the geometry the more u lower the car the worst its going to get, the stock suspension is trash. For good handling the front control arms should be level with the ground. But yes the stock gap is ugly
