can a mach 1 shaker scoop be used on a 5.0 mustang

I dont see why it couldnt but there would have to be a lot of modifications to make it work

Well I do see why. The intake is totally different and the work involved even if it could be done whats the point? The air comes from the intake tube anyway? Lotsa nice hoods out there to choose from.. I would not bother if I were you..

would you really even want that for a fox body...dosnt seem right to me to put one of those on there....maybe just my opinion...

its because i have an 01 mustang and im going to buy a new engine and im thinking of getting a 5.0 engine

Im just saying it could be done with major modifications not saying I would do it just saying that it could be done if you put the time and lots of money into it

I wouldnt try it you can buy a shaker kit for the 4.6 if you want a shaker

Is the shaker you have from an original 69 or 70 mach1 if so its worth alot of money and I wouldnt chop it up to install it on your 5.0

naw the shaker i have is for a 4.6l its is just that i had bought some parts for my 4.6l and it isnt working anymore so im going to buy a 5.0 engine and i didnt want the parts to go to waste can i put the 4:10 gears on it because i have an automatic would be alot of modifying to put a 5.0 in a 01 mustang?

Yeah you can put the 4.10 gears in it but how many miles do they have on them if there is alot of miles on them you should just buy a new set of 4.10s I've never put a 5.0 in a 4.6 mustang
