Lock up or non?

How can I tell if my tranny is lock up or not? I have a 90 gt, if anyone know what they came with?

All AOD's were factory lock up. You can put an aftermarket non-lockup input shaft & converter in the AOD, but then you have no lockup at all. The only real downfall is if you have say a 3500 non-lockup stall converter and you're cruising down the highway, every time to go up a hill or grade your converter will flash/stall. Its an awsome set up for racing, but not highway cruising!

If it still has lock up, the car should almost bog when it shifts into 3rd gear. The rpm's will drop way down and shortly after that it will shift into OD.
