what's your setup? are you one wheel peeling? A rearend rebuild might be in order along with some new suspension parts.

Well that depends on how much power you have. Generally street tires will not give you your best times at the track but remember the first 60' of a dragstrip has at least a 1\4 inch of rubber on the track.. If you have ever walked on it you see it feels like glue if the track is prepped right of course.. Even with street tires on the dragstrip if you launch at 2k you will prob be ok just dont mash the pedal the the floor. Feel the car feel the track and roll into it until you get to full throttle.. After second gear if your car is not heavily modded you should be able to mash the pedal after the 2nd to 3rd shift.. Of course drag radials will help you.. Unless you have 17inch rims or better then drag radial performance is not much better than regular street tires and I would not waste your money.. Drag radials work best with a 15' inch rim because there is plenty of sidewall to flex and absorb some of the shock of the launch where 17inch and larger tires have viturally no sidewall at all and what it does have is way to stiff to absorb. They just spin also... Even 16inch wheels would be somewhat ok for drag radials but for sure a big fat no to 17inch and up... Waste of $$

well my car is all stock only thing done is headmen headers and flowmaster mufflers so that's what i was saying even if my tires really suck a stock mustang shouldn't spin them up that much unless the rear suspension sucks right

drag radials will still be a huge difference over street tires and help you alot...although they would work better on 15s they will still do great things on 17s but they have to be wide enough and correct preasure in them and they have to be hot or you are wasting your time
