Debating wastegates...

Ok so currenly im using a no name 38mm wastegate which wasnt woeking befotre, i thought i needed a 44mm wastegate so i bought a tial mvr. Then i went home for labor day weekend and disconnected the top vacuum hose on the 38 and now it works fine im running a consistent 4lbs of boost, my question is should i keep the 44 and put it on or should i trade it for a tial 38mm so i wont have to make a new flange and dump pipe....

I think your 38 is going bad anyways (or at least sticking), I would go with the 44 (and also for future upgrades too) and call it done, plus I dont trust the "no name things" either.
