Fuel & Brake Lines

I am looking to replace both fuel and brake lines from the rear to the front.

I heard I could get these parts already bent and fully prepped for installation but that would cost more.

Could I pick up a roll of steel tubing or copper tubing and route these lines as I see fit?

I wouldnt recommend copper tubing for those lines. Keep in mind that you cant just use one type size, you will need different sizes and then make every flare, including the fuel line fiting near the filter and gas tank (they are a different type of flaring). I guess if you have more time then money and the proper tools, then go for it, but then again when you go to the ready made ones, they are the proper strengths and bends including new fittings ( if your lines are screwed up that bad then maybe the fittings are bad too?).

+1 on not using copper; steel should be fine. You'll need double flare tools for the brakes, and the job will be easier with a tube bender.

Cool

I would just buy pre bent lines because once you buy all of the right sizes, correct fittings, tube bending tool, flaring tool(for the brake lines), and if you can find any tool to make the correct connections for the fuel lines. Even without the fuel lines you have pretty much paid for the brake lines.

Here is a complete brake line set.

Now I have never seen a tool that can remake the fuel line connections so you have 2 choices, try your luck at using high pressure rubber lines and hose clamps to connect the hard lines or buy pre bent lines.

here is the complete fuel system lines.

1986-93 Mustang 5.0L Complete Fuel Line Kit by Classic Tube at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

and here is just the fuel supply from the tank to the engine
