Ebay window motor question
I need a new drivers side window motor and i saw some place on ebay that has them for around 40 bucks.The place is called "discount body parts".Has anyone bought anything from them??.

Yeah i already tried.It just slowed down and stopped working one day.I wouldnt mind so much if it was the passenger side window.

I just got my new window motor in the mail that i ordered.Heres the problem,the mounting holes dont have threads?Has anyone else had this problem?? Do i have to get a tap&die(not sure if its the right word) set??

Rivets are another option. Tapping should work provided there is enough material to get more than a few threads and you don't need a complete set, only one single tap in the size you want and a few $$.

Mine window motor didnt have threads, but the direction in the box said the screws were self taping and the were. no need for tap.

I got the motor in today with no problems.I just reused the bolts from the old motor,i didnt have to tap anything.The new motor weighs about half as much as the old one and is smaller so getting it back in was no problem.Cant beat the price
