Need intake opinions!!

Ok so I have a completely stock 5.0 have a catless bbk h-pipe that's about it. Just wanted to know which intake you guys would suggest. Eventually I will do more upgrades. So I want something that will be able to handle at least other aftermarket upgrades. I am building a street racer not a drag car. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

stock intake is good for low end to midrange power so dont discard it yet, you'd be suprised what it can do...

if your looking for more HP the trickflow street is a pretty good way to go...

but if your building a street racer first things you need to do:
Subframe connectors, lower K-member bar, Strut brace front and rear.
Brake kit upgrade (no point of more power if you cant stop)
suspension upgrades, lower the centre of grav get better handling, castor camber plates, stiffer sway bars...
wheels 17x8 or 18x8 up front and 17x10.5 or 18x10 on the rear... that way you can fir a nice wide tyre and get good traction...

replace the stock seats 1 weighs about 3 times more than an aftermarket seat,

You have to decide what you're planning and on what budget. I would say get a trick flow r series intake and put it on later. On a stock motor it would be stupid, lol.

internal EGR Explorer intake from a JY - run it stock for now and port the lower later if using heads that flow up to ~260cfm. Any head above 260 cfm prob needs a bigger intake.

If your engine is all stock i wouldnt bother with an intake swap at this time. swap the intake when you swap out cylinder heads. other wise id start with sub frame conectors, rear end gears and a good set of tires. maybe replace all the worn out bushing and Suspension

I agree. First mod should be full length weld in sub frame connectors. People who haven’t done it cant appreciate the drive quality.
