Need help asap please!!

Ok so the other day I changed my thermostat on my 302 I had went about a year without one I figured it was time. Well I had problems getting it to seal but finally did. So last night I was driving it when I noticed a sticky throttle. This morning I woke up and drove to school about 5 miles away. I get out and I notice there is a slight smoke coming from engine. Not sure but I think it could be leaking coolant. Anybody have any ideas? I really need help with this.

Are you losing coolant? If it's coolant you would probably smell it. Why were having so much trouble getting it to seal? When I got my car the previous owner did not have a thermostat in, which I thought was stupid considering the car came form a northern state. But I changed mine and it sealed up fine. It was a pita getting that small hose back on at such an angle but I had no problems with leaking.

I have no clue why. Well it doesn't smell like coolant but there was liquid all over the front of the engine.

So I just went outside and let my car heat up. It is coolant coming from the little hose on the left it's ripped And gushing out fluid. I guess I'll just have to cut it and get a new one later.
