bad 302 ???
i have a Man-O-War 302 iron block, i was talking to world castings and they told me the block was the 302 with 8.2 deck height and 2.749 main journals(351 cleveland sizes.) they told me i need to use a 351 crank. the problem is the 351 crank is 3.500, and bigger for strokers. if i use that with my 5.4 rods and 4.125 pistons (was for my 363 with a 3.4 stroker crank), the pistons will be above deck height for 8.2 blocks. has anyone encountered this problem? any info would help

That's retarded. I would get in touch with woody or someone who builds fords and see if there's an OTS crank that will work. Otherwise you're going to have to go custom to get a shorter stroke 2.75" crank. Probably going to be $$. Why they made those blocks is beyond me.
