Hey guys attempted to start my car today but it wont. Engine turns over, hear the fuel pump kick on. but am not getting any power to my coil when i turn the ignition key to on. what could it be. May it be a fuse or something. Its a 89 5.0 by the way

ive gone through near damn every electrical issue when starting the car so i can sympathise...

have a look at the wires at the beginning of the starter solenoid. they are "fuse link wires" or basically cheap crap. if there is an overload on the system the wires will shrink and break. have a look there thats where i would start.

if your fuel pump is getting power that means the ECU is getting power so that should be ok from that side of things.

on one of the injectors remove the clip ontop of them and use a multimeter to check there is power going to them.

then you can check the wiring that clips into the TFI module (on the dizzy) as well.

veryuseful.com have some good wiring diagrams you can use to help identify wire colours so you can check what is getting power...
