I'm trying to figure out if i can use a Lincoln Mark 8 MAF housing and use my stock sensor but for the calibration of 24lbs injectors...anybody know??

no def not for 24#'s the computer calibraits the injectors in stock aplications. aftermarket uses sample tubes or the electronics of the MAS, but this is really only fooling the eec. no stock ford MAS will properly run 24#'s without a tune

I understand that, I'm saying the maf Housing off of it...the houseing is suppose to be calibrated for 24lb injectors. And it would be the same in buying an aftermarket with the sample tube pike wat C&L performance does. I'm jus tryn to make sure.

no it woint be the same. no ford MAF stock sensor is calibraited for a certin injector size. as stated above. trust me it woint fly. in stock aplications injector size is tuned by the eec and NOT the MAF. it doesnt matter that the MAF came from a car with 24#'s. the best junkyard plug &play MAF mod is to use a 94-95 70mm MAF from a v-6 or v-8 mustang. this is with stock 19#'s

I'm only trying to fool the ecu. Lol I was just seeing if the housing off of a mark 8 would Wrk rather than going to C&L performance and gettng a mass air housing and a sample tube for my stock sensor.
