IMHO the hatch back is a much better looking car in GT or LX form. The notch back just dosent flow as well. But if you are looking for an all out race car then the notch back is the perfered choice because its lighter.

Theres a lot of false info in this thread. It just comes down to what you like. Gt's are NOT that much heavier and didn't have different suspension like nolife stated. The sideskirts and bumpers are plastic and don't weigh more than 25 pounds all together. Suspension was identical. Gears were the same. Wheels were different until 91 they all had pony rims. The coupes are a bit lighter because they don't have that heavy ass hatch. Coupes also have the stiffest chassis which is why u see more coupes drag racing then any other fox body style.
