Break in

Well make a long story short. four cylinders two on each side only were firing but the car ran smooth as i broke the motor in. wouldn't hold an idle so i didn't try starting it again. Would teh ground coming out of teh wiring harness if not grounded well would it affect the injectors to spraying? and would one of teh alternator connections not hooked would that affect the firing of teh car?

Thanks

Jon

alternator doesnt affect the firing, the injectors do need a ground but i thought the computer grounds the injectors to control pulse width, but either wayyou need voltage to operate the injectors so connections are important. When u say firing you mean fuel?

check for spark on all cyl.s, then take a screwdriver and press it against each injector, stick your ear on the screwdriver handle and listen for the tick.tick.tick. If you have to you can put two screwdrivers together, the injector noise is pretty strong, you may even be able to feel it with out listening to it. see if they're all ticking, car must be running.

well The car ran smooth and 4 cylinders were actually firing so fuel was getting to hte rail so either power is not getting to the injectors or they have failed. There the original injectors but they worked last year. Do all the grounds have to hooked to the back of the heads? I can only see 4 total ground for the entire car? I hope I am not missing any. Is the injectors on two circuit? thanks for your help
