Cleaning the EGR?


is it possible to clean an egr valve? if so, How do i do this?

Yes, you can push it open and pray it out. You'd probably be better off getting a new one. Also the carbon buildup in your intake manifold should be cleaned out. If your valve is stuck open and has been for a while, it can burn a hole thru your intake. You might want to take it apart to clean it and check it for GP.
