What to do with $2000
It already has,k&n panel,76mmC&Lmaf&inlet pipe, bbk o/r h-pipe,flow cat-back, full length Sfc's,and 4.10's.I also just had the AOD rebuilt. Now im gonna have no more than 2k.I want more power,so what suggestions can you guys come up with to upgrade my engine. Please include the labor costs in the 2k.This is also my dd.I want an h/c/i swap, but im not sure 2k will cover it all(labor included).

used supercharger off of corral.net get a vortech or something for 1500 or less, you can EASILY do the install yourself, its just bolting on brackets and taping the return line in the pan. shit you can probly find a seller that will include a tapped pan, then pay 500 or so for a tune. thats gona be the best bang for your 2000. you could buy some tfs or afr heads and a explorer intake but thats probly gona be it if your gona pay for labor (which i dont see why you are going to)

This is my daily driver.I dont have a place or the time to work on my car.I can do stuff that doesnt take that long, like bolt-ons.I just cant keep my car torn apart for any amount of time.As much as i would like to,something like a h/c/i swap, which i have never done, would take me longer than normal.

Yes you will need to get a good Dyno tune after install. But it looks like you'll need to purchase bigger injectors and fuel pump since it's not included in the kit.

Tahts very funny, but im being serious here dude.Im spending alot of money, need some serious advice. Now by tune you mean dyno tune? Is that kit a 'bolt-in' kit that doesnt require any serious modifications???Also can it be installed and tunes at a later date??

Yes you'll need a dyno tune if you want it to run correctly and to compensate for the bigger injectors, MAF, and to make up for the additional output of a bigger fuel pump. That kit looks like it's a direct bolt-on and no major modification will be required. You can also drive it without getting tuned but be prepared for your CEL to kick on and possibly run bad on a stock tune.

Yeah its just a stock rebuild.Im wondering if the 4.10's would be to much for a supercharger or turbo.I just found a dyno shop that specializes in mustang.Im gonna give them a call tomorrow. There a vortech certified install shop,if that matters.

4.10s will wake it up, but I will warn you it ruined my first AOD car. It had 7x,xxx miles on it I wasnt shifting it. What I heard years ago, was the AOD cant handle the higher RPMs. If it wasnt a daily driver I would say do it, but at that time, I was DD mine, and dogging it. I would say a T-5 swap would be a good investment, or a build AOD with a stall, then maybe a H/C/I would be a good start.

5 lug conversion and wheels. it will take you about 8 to 10 hours to do it. just get a new rear end and new spindles from a sn95.
