rebuilt heads?

I wana swap out mt GT-40 heads for some AFRs but they are hella expensive. A guy i know has some rebuilt AFRs that he will sell me for cheap. But im wondering if its just a waste of money to get those or should i just save up for some brand spankin new ones.

AFR is an excellent head for a mustang. Just be careful, there could be a ton of things wrong with them that you might not be able to see. If they were overheated, they could be warped and so on. If you trust the guy, i would go for them. What size are they?

I would go with the 165's if you are stock to moderately modded.
