please help with swap

I know this is for the 5.0 stangs, but I'm not sure where to post this question.

I have a 93 Lincoln mark viii, has no tranny but the motor runs strong. I also have a 86 mustang 4cyl, 5speed with a bad motor and tranny..I'm wanting to take the motor ecm and wiring out of the mark viii and put in the Stang.

Is this possible?
What else will I need?
Any pointers?
Will I have to cut anything?

All help is appreciated..
I plan on going back toa auto with a shift kit.

That should be a 4.6, its a 93 Lincoln

Yes its a 4.6l out of a 93 mark viii 5.0 was in the mark vii.

So, any helpful hints on this swap?
