Yes its a pretty radical small block. Its solid roller, borderline pump gas compression. Its a work of art honestly to put a motor together like this BUT if I can make that with no blower. A 408 with 9:1 compression and a blower will rock his goals easy.

Well if I DID do a coyote swap what transmissions are compatible? I like Automatics. Would the new 6 speed fit in the fox?

And is there anyone who makes a aluminum 363 block? If not whats the best 363 out there and would it be smart to put boost or nitrous in it?

Is there a reason you're hung up on an aluminum block? Just because they're more expensive than the iron blocks doesn't mean it's going to do you much good. If you're more concerned about straight line performance, stick with an iron block that won't break the budget. My iron block weighs 195lbs and with the rest of the stuff I've removed from the car and even with the drag suspension I have on the car, it's not bad on the street at all around corners.
To get 363 cubes out of an 8.2 deck you need a big bore block. One that starts with a 4.125" bore as opposed to one that starts at a 4" bore. I would do a 9.5 deck if those are your power goals though. An SHP block is your best bet IMO. |
