The smoothest easiest one to shift will be the fastest. A short throw is a short throw for the most part. For smooth shifting will prolly' need your tranny reworked.

Definitely opinion...I have rowed a tri-ax and i owned a Pro 50...I liked them both...Alot of people are liking the MGW shifter that is out...i havent tried it yet, but i hope too...It is all preference....
My Pro 50 would practically shift into third when you pushed in the clutch..I loved it.

so there really is no definitive shifter that shifts like 40 percent less or anything.....i know that some boast like 30 percent but my hurst is nowhere near the shift shortness (is that a word?) thats in my buddy's stang....whats the deal?

The MGW's ad does say its the highest quality short throw shifter in the business.... period. I am willing to bet that's a little biased though, but hey it looks tough. Sorry I don't have a car so no input on the shifter. Give me about four months and I will let you know. As soon as I figure out which transmission I will get I am getting the MGW. If you're getting the t56, its 179.00.

I have owned a tri ax and a pro 5.0. I like the pro 5.0 better. Never touched a MGW.

I had a Pro5.0 and I like my New MGW slightly better, you can row the gears as if you are driving an automatic. You can also adjust the handle up or down and make it swing out or closer great product

T5's are the same, just different years have different insides. The shifter will fit.

I am tempted to sell my Pro 5.0 and pick up one of these MGW shifters. I just checked out the website and they look pretty slick. Look like nice quality and the adjustablity is pretty amazing.
