Need Some Advice
I am tired of messing with this Speed Density crap, but I am not paying through the nose to switch to MAF. I can get a good deal on a intake and carb package for my 1988 5.0, and I am going to run a MSD box and HEI distributor for the ignition duties. I have a built AOD trans, a 2800 stall converter, and I am fixing to upgrade to 3.73 rear gears. So here is the question. What would be a good ROLLER cam for this setup? It is 95% street car, but may see a little action occasionally. I want it to sound good, and run good if need be. I am considering the F303 cam, but I know a lot of you guys hate the so-called "alphabet" cams, so give me some suggestions here. Thanks in advance for the input.

the problem is that unless you get a tune with a cam in a SD car your gona be super limited in you cam choice and for the money you are gona spend, 500 for the tune and 200 for the cam plus parts to install the cam your looking at near a 1000 bucks, you might as well just go to a MAF set up and get a good otc cam, you should be able to find the maf, wiring, and cpu for 500 or less and that gets rid of the SD set up for the price your gonna have to pay to tune it

Depends entirely on your intake, heads, and exhaust as well as what you already have listed.

^ What he said. I have got a trickflow stage one cam but i also have their heads as well and a holley systemax intake. I know that you can get MAFs calibrated for injectors from Anderson ford Motorsport. That is who calibrated my MAF for my 24lb injectors. I know some guys who have been able to piece together a great running GT40 car as well. it is all in what you are willing to spend.
