I use one on mine and yea I recommend it. It's definitely a learning curve though so don't expect to just jump in after a few days of research and get a good tune going. If you haven't yet, check out eectuning.org. You can also download the software (binary editor and eecanalyzer) for free from moates.net and play around with it first. There's help files in those two programs that have a ton of info in them about how the EEC works.

Thanks for the info! I was expecting it to have a steep learning curve just not sure how difficult it really is to use.

You definitely want a basic understanding of how the EEC works. Once you know the tables it uses for "x" conditions you can start to fine tune everything. A lot of it is going to be trial and error and datalogging. It's not terrible to get a base tune going, I got mine up after about 2 weeks and that was only because I was fighting my DBX meter. The car runs and drives fine but there's always conditions where I'm running a little too rich or too lean that I'm learning how to adjust. I'm about 4 months in now and I'm far from close. The car does run well though currently so it's definitely not like you'll be pulling your hair out and have no fun with the car while you're learning.

binary editor is $80 from Moates and EEC Analyzer is $60 from Moates!
