I know this is off topic of mustangs, but it is not off topic of 5.0 engines. I have a tuck my dad just gave me along with the mustang i already have, and i was wondering how the 50 series flowmasters would compair to the 40 series on a 302, i am getting a side pipe convertion kit that needs mufflers to go along with it, also i dont care about the power loss of side pipes on my truck. I just want it to sound nice, but not too loud, thanks for any help you can give.

The 40's are just louder than the 50's theres no loss of power between the two

yeha i know that, i was refering to the fact that side pipes loose you power, I also know that the 40s are louder, i was trying to figure out how much less loud and if the 50s were easily noticable from a distace.
