Are you trying to reach this goal with enigine modifictions? If so your gonna need new heads, cam, intake, exhaust, possibly some bottom end work, more powerful fuel pump and injectors. This is just scratching the surface and will cost you $$$ how much are you willing to spend.

realistically more then likely a couple thousand for the engine. haven't decided if im going to go n/a or turbo. just trying to get a general idea of what im looking at. ive had mustangs in the past as a kid but i was trying to impress more with looks then with power then. now i want the power then ill do the cosmetics.

If you want a Turbo this is the best bang for your buck.
You should also inlcude the accessory kit with the turbo kit , without it your turbo kit is useless
On 3 Performance Turbo Kit 87-93 5.0L Mustangs - JEGS
Gives you AT LEAST 400HP.
Cant help you that much for engine modding though
The Old Timers of the forums will eventauly help you out and give you thorough knowledge of engine modifaction and how much it will cost, pros cons, ect.
