On the later foxes if the heater core goes it usually leakes through a small pipe in the engine bay (if the original box was sealed well)... its a small black rubber pipe poking through the firewall located just below where the heaters coolant lines go into the car. The hole is directly above where the H/X-pipe is so if it drips onto that it would steam up so you would notice as i did one winter a few years back...

Im at a loss i think it leaked out when my car was parked on the incline in my front yard where the driver side was high and the passenger side was low maybe this caused it to leak out becuase i have noticed no leakage or missing coolant today at all so does this at least rule out gasket failure

Does it just lose a little bit at a time? Mine will do that every other week or so. No leaks or white smoke in the exhaust to my knowledge.

Look and see if the insides of your tailpipes are a reddish color.
Does the car have an overflow tank?

How long has it been since the radiator was installed? Because yes, if you replaced it recently it could still be burping itself.
Whenever you drain the radiator/engine and then refill the radiator, most people think that if the radiator is full that the coolant will run down the upper radiator hose into the engine, but since the engine is cold and the thermostat is closed, it can't get in the engine. The engine will not have very much coolant in it. When you start the engine, it picks the coolant up from the lower radiator hose and tries to pump it into the engine, but if the thermostat is closed, it won't be able to pull any coolant into the engine because the engine has a bunch of air trapped in it with no way out. Usually this air doesn't get out until the engine reaches operating temp and the thermostat opens. Once the thermostat opens, the air can get out of the engine and go into the radiator, and then the engine fills up with coolant. Once the air is in the radiator, it goes through the cap into the overflow bottle, and then it sucks coolant out of the overflow bottle into the radiator in place of the air. Personally, I wouldn't want to run the engine that long without coolant in it. But, if you have small bypass holes drilled in the thermostat (or if you have a Robert Shaw type thermostat with a built in bypass) the engine won't have to warm up before the air is released from the engine, as it can escape through the bypass holes. Some thermostats have jiggle pins, which are a type of bypass setup. Sometimes the pins get stuck and don't vent like they are supposed to though. Coolant has a strong smell. It smells sweetish, kind of like corn syrup. If it is hot, you can smell it across a parking lot. Make sure you cannot smell any under the hood, inside the car, or in the exhaust. If you can't, it's probably still burping itself. Anyways, all of this can cause your engine to gradually pull coolant out of the overflow bottle. Once the engine, intake, heater core, hoses, and radiator are all completely full of coolant and void of air, coolant will stop disappearing from the bottle.

if it keeps leaking, and you dont need heat...yet....then you can run a U shaped hose to bypass the heater core to see if its still losing coolant. you can also remove your radiator cap and then start your car and allow it to run until it reaches operating temperature (thermostat temp so it opens), and then youll see coolant flowing throw the radiator when you look into the radiator from up top into the fill hole. that will allow it to work the air out of the system. also make sure your cap fits perfect, a loose cap can allow small amounts of coolant to come out.

Thnx for all the help guys i think im chucking it up to a burp that pulld my coolant dry my tail pipes are black on the inside and it has no unusual odor also it runs at normal temp and drives fine i havent lost any coolant in a couple days so that rules out a leak
