1994 cobra 5.0 idle issues..please help

Hello im new to the site and i have been trying to figure this out...

1.....
I have a 1994 mustang cobra i just recently purchased..
It has idling issues..

I give it gas and it hangs at 1500 rpms and drops down slowly..

If i take off iac (idle air control ) it revs just fine and drops to idle nicely..but backfires when decelerating..

I have changed spark plugs, distributor cap , rotor , and ignition coil ,iac, intake gaskets, egr gasket, throttle body gasket .. Pvc ..and cleaned intake ..and changed vacuum hoses behind intake

2..car feels sluggish and pcv grommet keeps popping out. And idle bounces but very short ..

Was told that it was tps, and iac ..

3. Another note ..speedomter isnt working but i know its a vss ..

If someone can help me it would be greatly appreciated
..
