Hey fellas I have an issue, and was looking for some help. I have a 95 GT with 170K+ on the engine. It has been sitting since last June with a blown head gasket, with really no intentions (anymore) on fixing it up since Im getting an 08 soon.So Im laying in bed today and someone rings the doorbell. I though it was a neighbor kid so of course I don't answer. Well about 5 or 6 more rings I go to the door and it's a maintenance guy ( I live on a Navy base). So he asks if I'm interested in selling it, and I say I havent really thought about it. So he wants to buy his daughter a car for graduation and said he will stop by next week to give me some time to think. Now this car I've had since 98. Besides the head gasket the car is solid. As long as nothing else was damaged from the head gasket, but it has never overheated. I put a 5 speed in it in Oct 05, it has 3.73's off road h-pipe, flows, udp's, and new brakes rotors and calipers up front. I was just trying to get an idea of what i should try to sell it for? I was thinking 2 grand the way it sits... Any suggestions?

Depends on if antifreeze got into the crankcase before you stopped running it. If it sat like that then your bearings in the lower end will be rusted and it will need a full rebuild.

If the car is clean and solid no major dings dents ect.. You should be able to get 2 grand for it even with the motor problem
