Just got 3.73s in.
3.37s and had the trak-loc rebuilt with Termie bits (carbon clutch packs and the stiffer spring).
Can NOT wait to go pick it up! ![]() Oh, in before "cool story bro" or it's analogs

I had mine installed 2 months ago. I added an aluminum drive shaft at the same time. It is a totally different driving experience versus the 2.73.

Got the car back, and on the way home, was fairly unimpressed. Couldn't open it up with all the traffic, so it just felt slower from being geared down.
But I had autocross today. Ho. Ly. Crap. Car is punchy as hell now, lol. It just took some getting used to, but the car is soooo much faster. I am glad I only went 3.73s; with the rev range of my stock 5.0, 4.10s would've been too short for the way I drive the car. As it is, my 1st gear is pretty useless on the street now. The ONLY thing I don't like about these gears is that turning 2300 rpm to do 70mph is a little obnoxious, but this car sees maybe 40 freeway miles per month, so that's not a big deal in the least.

I'm glad you made that last post as I have been planning on 3.73's myself. I may go 3:55's as I do a good bit of higway driving. 50 mi to and from work. I will leave it in 4th and see how much 2300 rpm bothers me. Anything is better than the 2:73's that are in it now. I wish i had just rebuilt the 3:08 rear that was in my car originally instead of swapping rears.
I'm also glad to hear that the Termi bits are a worthwhile upgrade because I was just going to use stock replacements when I did mine. edit: just drove home and 2300 rpm is no problem for me. It may be a little bit with the windows rolled up but I never have the windows up. I cannot believe I was actually thinking of going 3:55.
