!!!MAJOR CLUTCH PROBLEMS!!! PLZ HELP!!!!

OK i own a 88 GT and recently installed a stage 2 clutch from act and while doing so i also put in a lighter flywheel. As soon as i installed the new clutch my old cable started giving me trouble so i replaced it. The same day my new cable either slipped or stretched and it was doing the same thing again... ( cant get into reverse *grindage* and it is very stiff to shift gears also i get a rattle when i give it a little gas but not at an idle.) I replaced the cable again and this time i replaced the fork too and once again it worked fine for a day and then back to the same old shit.. This has cost me over 2 grand in parts and labour already and i cant afford to keep putting it in the shop.. anyone got a solution?!! PLZ HELP M!!

Did you get a Ford Racing flywheel? If so, you're supposed to use metric bolts to fasten it, along with new dowels.

I am in the process of putting a new clutch in myself, what a PITA! :wink
